About the Author

Sharon Suzuki-Martinez earned a Ph.D. in English from the University of Arizona. Her awards include fellowships from Kundiman and the Anderson Center for Interdisciplinary Studies. She has lived in Hawaii, Arizona, Minnesota, New York, and Illinois, and daydreams about everywhere else.

"The Way of All Flux," her first published collection, won the 2010 Many Voices Project award for poetry from New Rivers Press.
