Manga fans don't often get a complete epic story in one volume, and rarer still do we see manga printed in full, glorious watercolor. Sazan delivers both! This comic has something for everyone: whimsy, action, romance, and likable characters in a fun setting. It's shocking that this is Akase's first work, because it feels first and foremost like the 90s anime film you never saw.
